➢ A COVID patient with swastika tattoos all over his body recently showed up at a hospital in Sacramento in serious condition. And here’s why medical professionals are so amazing: His doctor is Jewish . . . his nurse is Black . . . and his respiratory therapist is Asian. ➢ A meteor crashed through the Earth’s atmosphere causing a thunderous boom and a brilliant flash of light over Lake Ontario. The meteor broke into pieces 22 miles above land somewhere between Rochester and Syracuse. The sonic boom reportedly could be heard across much of New York State in in parts of Canada. Bill Cooke, head of NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office, told NBC News that the event was extremely unusual. Most meteors just drop into the ocean somewhere far from land.
➢ Another monolith was found in Atascadero, California this week, about halfway between L.A. and San Francisco. The local news talked to some hikers who came across it. A bunch of jerks eventually tore it down in the middle of the night. (One of the hikers said he thought the same monolith from Utah must have “landed” there.)
➢A thief in Hawaii walked into a guy’s house while he was home last week . . . stole a ukulele off the wall . . . and was caught playing it in a park the next day. (Here’s the owner talking about it. Note his traditional pronunciation of “ukulele.”)

➢ Expect wait staff to fight over who gets to serve Donnie Wahlberg the next time he walks into a restaurant. That’s to be expected after he recently left a $2,020 tip on a $35 bill after dining in Plymouth, Massachusetts, near his hometown of Boston. The restaurant owner said that Wahlberg always asks for the same server when he eats there, and enjoyed his normal order: steak tips with some grilled asparagus and some poached eggs. His favorite server, Denise, shared the tip with her co-workers.

A dachshund in Colorado ended up being quite the hero when he saved the life of his chiweenie friend from the jaws of a mountain lion.
Winston came to the aid of Mijo after the mountain lion pounced and snatched him into its jaws.
Winston the dachshund barked until the mountain lion dropped Mijo.
Mijo lost an eye, but is alive thanks to his friend.

SECONDHAND CLOTHING SALES ARE BOOMING
The secondhand clothing market is projected to more than triple in value in the next 10 years, it’s currently worth $28 billion, and is expected to be worth $80 billion by 2029.
Right now, the secondhand clothing market is composed of two major categories, thrift stores and resale platforms, but it’s the latter that has largely fueled the recent boom. It’s driven by younger consumers who also sometimes participate in a trend known as “fashion flipping”—or buy secondhand clothes and then resell them.
There are websites that facilitate peer-to-peer exchange of everyday clothing, and are quickly becoming the next big thing in the fashion industry.

METEOR OVER JAPAN LIGHTS UP NIGHT SKY
You never know what type of magic could be happening overhead. A meteor streaked over Japan on Sunday morning (November 29th) and the object was caught on video in various locations. Experts say the fireball was classified as a bolide, an unusually bright meteor, and this one produced a burst of light as bright as a full moon.

FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE ‘FUELED’ BY LATEST CAREER ACHIEVEMENT
Florida Georgia Line recently became the only country artists in the 62-year history of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) to have a second song sell over 10 million copies and reach Diamond certification. The first song they achieved that status with was “Cruise” back in 2016. This time around it’s with “Meant to Be” with Bebe Rexha.
Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley were recently honored for the achievement during a typical 2020 Zoom celebration. Tyler told those gathered online that this feat was fuel for their fire to set and break records. [“For me, it’s like, it’s always inspiring. It’s always like, oh wow, the possibility’s there. Let’s try to beat that. Let’s try to beat that. Let’s see what we can do. I think it’s important to sit back and take it in for a second and let it motivate. It really does. It fuels me for sure, and I know that it fuels BK, and I think it’s that song high that we continue to chase day in and day out. It’s just in our blood. THOMAS RHETT GOT PAYBACK ON A FISHING TRIP
Thomas Rhett says he got a taste of karma earlier this year when he accidentally caught himself while fly fishing on a family trip to Colorado. He tells us that he sought his wife Lauren‘s expertise as a nurse as to what to do at the time of the mishap, but he already had a little so-called pain killer in his system.
Thomas explains: [“Well, I’d had three or four Miller Lights, let’s just preface it with that. And I was trying to cast into the wind, and I’m not a super-experienced fly fisherman and so when I casted back and went forward, the wind took it and just whipped it right into the back of my leg. And I started limping over to my wife and I was like, ‘So what do I need to do?’ She’s like, ‘You’re gonna have to push it through the other side,’ but thank you for Miller Lite because I think it would have been a lot more painful without it. I honestly think it’s payback cause my grandfather was the one that taught me how to fish – and there was one time when I was about nine years old that I slung my rod back and I hooked him right in the neck with a treble hook. I watched a doctor pull it out, and so when I hooked myself right in the back of the leg, I looked at the sky and said, ‘God, I deserve every bit of this.’”]
Thomas and Lauren co-hosted ABC’s CMA Country Christmas earlier this week where he performed a song called “Christmas In The Country.”
