➢The Rosebud Motel that was featured in the Canadian comedy series Schitt’s Creek is up for grabs as the owner of the fictional motel is preparing to put the very real property on the market. Once a functioning motel in Orangeville, Ontario the property has recently gained fame as the rundown motel in the show that swept the recent Emmy Awards.
The owner is the president of one of the country’s most successful basketball prep schools. He bought the motel in 2011 as a place to house his recruits. Denver Nuggets player Jamal Murray, who is from the nearby town of Kitchener, lived in the motel for two years while attending the school. They haven’t yet revealed the selling price.
➢ Some birds are not meant to be caged—animal rescuers in Scotland are looking for the owner of a courageous cockatiel that surprised some fisherman who were boating 10 miles from shore. The bird, which was found to be in good health, landed on the boat for a mid-flight rest. They named the bird Hei-Hei after the rooster in Moana that stows away on her boat.
➢ Dogs get “high” when you rub their ears thoroughly. They have a branch of nerves in their ears that extend to their internal organs and release endorphins when you rub them, sending relaxing impulses throughout their bodies and giving them a ‘natural’ high.
➢ Three NYC transportation employees are at risk of losing their jobs after their bosses discovered a ‘man cave’ that they had made underneath Grand Central Station. The three turned a secret room nestled deep underneath GCS into a break room complete with a fridge (with beer), microwave, and TV connected to an Amazon Fire Stick.
➢ A new James Bond podcast launched yesterday. The six-part series – “No Time to Die: The Official James Bond Podcast” – will be hosted by film critic James King and will feature interviews with 007 himself, Daniel Craig. Each installment focuses on a different aspect of the legacy of the Bond franchise, from music to gadgets and costumes to cars. The series will also uncover how the amazing locations are chosen and spectacular stunts are created for the iconic spy series.

Chiefs Sent a Bottle of Champagne to the Liquor Store Clerk Who Outed the Mahomes Signing
Back in July, when the Kansas City Chiefs signed PATRICK MAHOMES to that crazy $477 million contract . . . you might have heard about how a liquor store clerk “broke” the news.
Her name is Katie Camlin, and she’d Tweeted, quote, “A front office employee for the Chiefs came in and bought six bottles of Dom Perignon. Said there’s a big signing today . . . My guess is a Mahomes deal.” And she was right.
So were the Chiefs upset that she blabbed the news out to the whole Internet?
Apparently not. Because Chiefs GM Brett Veach sent HER a bottle of Dom Perignon, which was autographed by Mahomes and defensive end Chris Jones.
It came with a note that said, quote, “Katie: We had one bottle left and figured you would appreciate it the most. Go Chiefs!”
Katie ” I cried. I will treasure this absolutely forever.”
In case you missed it, during Monday night’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens, ESPN analyst Louis Riddick kept calling Chiefs quarterback “Pat” Mahomes, which didn’t sit well with his mom.

GOOD NEWS
There’s a guy named Michael Harris in Phoenix, and earlier this month, he was about to order from the Taco Bell drive-thru when suddenly, he had a heart attack.
But Michael got lucky in two ways. One, the Taco Bell employees were ON IT and immediately called for help. And two, there’s a fire station right across the street . . . and two guys there heard the call and raced over to help.
They used the defibrillator to SHOCK Michael two times . . . which got his heart beating again.
He was rushed to the hospital, and was there for seven days while he recovered. He’s now out and very grateful to both the Taco Bell employees and the firefighters.

BALCONY LOVE
An Italian couple has become known as the “Romeo and Juliet” of the lockdown.
In true Shakespearean style, their romantic story began on their respective balconies this year while Italians were forced to sequester in their homes because of the pandemic. It was in Verona — the same city where “Romeo and Juliet” took place.
Six months after they met from afar, the covid-19 sweethearts are engaged to be married.
Michele D’Alpaos, 38, first laid eyes on Paola Agnelli, 40, in mid-March when she walked out on her balcony. Agnelli spotted D’Alpaos that night on his terrace, and said it was love at first sight.
Agnelli stood directly across from him on her sixth-floor balcony while her sister performed a violin nightly at 6 p.m.intended to uplift the quarantined neighborhood.
She has lived in the same apartment complex since she was 5 years old. She had never met D’Alpaos, even though he has lived opposite her, on the seventh floor, for most of his life.
It just so happened that D’Alpaos’s sister knew Agnelli — the two had exercised at the same gym before lockdown began. She gave him Agnelli’s name.
“I started looking on all possible social networks,” explained D’Alpaos. “I saw that she had an Instagram profile, but I didn’t. In five minutes, I created an account.”
Although they longed for an in-person date, Italy remained in a mandated lockdown. For 10 weeks, the blossoming relationship was confined to hours-long telephone. Barred from stepping closer than 200 meters away (about 220 yards), D’Alpaos was desperate to show his affection to Agnelli.
He started by sending multiple bouquets of flowers, but then decided that wasn’t enough. In an effort to put his love on full display, D’Alpaos hung an old bedsheet with “Paola” emblazoned in big, bold bubble letters from his apartment complex in late March.
The romantic gesture drew the attention of news and social media, and that’s when the couple became known as the modern-day Romeo and Juliet.
In keeping with their beginnings, the couple continues to have nightly phone calls, sitting across from each other on their respective balconies and they’re making plans to move in together.

- A 36-year-old guy from Louisiana gotarrested after he was caught living in a 15-year-old girl’s closet in Florida for over a month. They’d met online, and she helped hide him from her parents.

CARRIE UNDERWOOD HEADS TO TARGET TO BUY NEW CHRISTMAS ALBUM
Carrie Underwood made her traditional trek to a local retailer to purchase a physical copy of her new album over the weekend. She released her first Christmas project, My Gift, on Friday (Sept. 25th), and on Saturday (Sept. 26th), she shared a picture of herself inside a Target store wearing a mask and holding a copy of the CD writing, “As per tradition, had to go buy the CD at the store! As not per tradition, I had to wear a mask! I promise I’m smiling, though!”
My Gift features 11 holiday tunes, something to put everyone in a festive mood [“I think fans can expect this album to just put them in the mood for Christmas. We go traditional. We go new. We sing songs about love. We sing songs about Jesus. We sing happy songs about Christmas. DIERKS BENTLEY, TERRI CLARK CELEBRATE THE OPRY’S 95TH ANNIVERSARY THIS WEEKEND
The Grand Ole Opry will celebrate its 95th anniversary throughout the month of October with various events, livestreams, sweepstakes, and special retail packages.
The celebration will also include weekly performances by some of country music’s favorites, beginning this Saturday (Oct. 3rd) with Dierks Bentley, Terri Clark, Vince Gill and
Lorrie Morgan. Dierks is also celebrating his 15th Opry anniversary. He was inducted into the Opry family on October 1, 2005. The in-venue audience will be capped at 500 guests for the October 3rd 95th anniversary celebration, and tickets are sold out.
The Oct. 10th lineup features Carly Pearce, Jeannie Seely, and Josh Turner; Oct. 17th includes Bill Anderson, Brandy Clark, and Chris Janson; Oct. 24th will be the “Opry Goes Pink” show in the fight against breast cancer with performances by Lauren Alaina, Little Big Town, Victoria Shaw and more; and Oct. 31st features Clint Black and Steve Wariner.
