➢ A stray python has been found in Chatham and the local Pet And Wildlife Rescue is looking to return it to its rightful owner.
The two-foot snake was found by a Chatham resident in their shed on Monday and one of his animal control officers picked it up. It’s believed to most likely someone’s pet that has escaped or has been abandoned.
The snake will be held for three days and if no owner comes forward, it will be put up for adoption, pending a clean bill of health.
The ball python is a species native to West and Central Africa. The non venomous constrictor is the smallest of the African pythons, growing to a maximum length of 182 centimeters.
➢ A Florida woman said she screamed in shock when a mysterious object inside her washing machine turned out to be a python. Emily Visnic, who recently moved from Connecticut to a West Palm Beach apartment, said she has her own laundry room in the residence and has no idea how a snake managed to get inside the appliance. She said animal control officers told her the snake appeared too large to have traveled through the buildings pipes. The officer said a neighbor in the same building had previously reported hearing what sounded like a snake traveling through the ventilation system. A building maintenance crew removed the snake
➢ A woman in Tennessee got her new driver’s license . . . and her picture was just an empty chair. “When the customer visited the Driver Services Center a few years ago, during the transaction, an examiner made an error by capturing and saving the wrong photo (of an empty chair) to the customer’s profile. When the customer recently renewed her driver license online, she received an image of a chair because that was the last picture taken on file.”
➢There’s a a Dr. Pepper shortage because of the pandemic . . . and people are really freaking out about it. Dr. Pepper tweeted, quote, “We know it’s harder to find Dr. Pepper these days. We’re working on it, hang tight.”
Charmin toilet paper responded to Dr. Pepper’s tweet with, quote, “Welcome to the club. We feel your pain.”
➢ When you’re as famous as CARRIE UNDERWOOD, you can ask your fans to settle a debate you’re having with your husband. Here’s the question she Tweeted out: “Are donuts breakfast or dessert? I say breakfast and only breakfast. Mike [Fisher] says they’re never breakfast and only allowed as dessert. What do you think?” The result? Breakfast by a longshot.

David Blaine Is Going to Fly Over New York City Holding Balloons
Remember DAVID BLAINE? The “magician” who does epic stunts on national TV? Well, he’s back . . . after spending most of the past decade under the radar.
His next stunt is called “Ascension,” and he’s going to attempt to fly above New York City . . . by holding a bunch of helium-filled balloons.
He’ll float across the Hudson River, from New Jersey to his native New York City.
It’s unclear where he got this idea . . . but it’s very possible that he’s spent his quarantine watching “Up” or “Curious George”. (Here’s a clip.)
On Twitter, David said, quote, “This stunt has been 10 years in the making. Let’s turn worry into wonder and take magic to new heights.”
The stunt is happening on August 31st, and will air live, exclusively on YouTube.

GOOD NEWS
Isaac Young is a 15yr old from Arnprior, Ont and like most wanted a summer job but had no luck due to the pandemic. So he decided to start making planter boxes after his parents had mentioned how much they were going for online.
The idea was followed up by an application to the Ontario Summer Company program, which grants start-up money to young people aged 15 to 29 looking to start their own business. By late May, Young’s company, Backyard Builder, was taking orders.
They create handmade picnic tables, priced at $340, sandboxes at $175, and large and small garden boxes priced at $175 and $150, respectively. So far, Young says he’s filled about 50 orders for customers, including an order of six picnic tables to Mill Street Brew Pub for their patio in Ottawa.
Young’s new business could not have come at a better time. Young and his dad quickly realized that the products the 15-year-old entrepreneur was making were the same products in high demand for those staying at home during the pandemic.
The new business owner doesn’t know if Backyard Builder will be his future career. The 15-year-old is currently interested in sports and, aside from looking into a police college, he hasn’t thought too much of the future. Still, he expects to carry the business over until he’s finished high school to help pay for post-secondary education.

YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS UP………………..
A woman named Adele Landauer snapped photos at a popular bathing spot in Berlin, Germany, called Teufelssee. The photos show a naked man chasing a wild boar and her two piglets after they stole his backpack.
Landauer posted the photos on Facebook, where she explains that the man was bathing while the boars calmly ate a pizza from his backpack. She adds that “they were looking for dessert” when they decided to just take his bag and run with it.
The man realized his laptop was inside and gave chase, wearing his birthday suit. She also noted that when she showed the photos to the man he had a good laugh and told her she could share them publicly. In Germany, it’s normal for people to go nude in parks as part of a movement that translates into, “free body culture.”
This sounds very unpleasant. Firefighters in Bedminster, England recently had to help a toddler who got a toilet set suck around his head. The child’s mother, Kristy Smith snapped photos of the incident after she found her two-year-old son, Callum, with the seat around his neck.
Smith says she noticed something was up when he was taking longer than usual to use the bathroom, and when he returned he was wearing the seat like a necklace.
She said Callum only started using the bathroom independently recently, and she tried to remove the toilet seat herself, but it was harder than she thought it would be, as it was a child-sized seat.
She added that firefighters were able to remove the seat using a pair of pliers—Callum wasn’t hurt.

STUDIES SHOW THE PANDEMIC COULD BE CHANGING YOUR PERSONALITY
Do you feel like a different person since the start of the pandemic? Studies show you may not be alone. According to new psychological research, factors such as isolation, work, and personal reflection all contribute to an individual’s psychology in quarantine. And this isn’t just backed by psychological research—respondents to a June survey confirmed this experience has ‘caused them to reflect on and reset their lives”.
Blake Shelton Wants You to Get Your Ticket Refunds
Are you still waiting on a ticket refund from a cancelled concert this year? You’re not alone and BLAKE SHELTON is on your side. It started after a fan on Twitter asked him to cancel a show instead of postponing it so they could get a refund.
When a show is cancelled the venue offers refunds. But if it’s postponed, they usually ask fans to hang onto the ticket and use it for a makeup date. Well, it seems the lines between the two have been getting blurred.
Blake cancelled his whole tour, which meant everyone should’ve been given the option of getting their money back. But a lot of them weren’t, so they sent him screenshots that showed the concert labeled as postponed. He decided to get to the bottom of it.
He wrote, “Hey guys we are working on this ticket refund thing. There are a lot of vendors involved and it’s a web for sure and I don’t think it’s any one person’s fault. It’s been a nightmare and confusing year for everyone at every level.”
He also posted details on how to get a Ticketmaster refund.

LADY A ANXIOUS TO PERFORM LATEST HIT LIVE
Lady A quickly jumped on the opportunity to record and release their latest hit single, “Champagne Night,” because they could easily imagine its impact during their live shows. While their tour for this year has been canceled due to the pandemic, Lady A’s Dave Haywood tells us he can hardly wait to get back on stage just to perform this song.[“The reason we chose this song was it was so much fun when we first heard it. When Madeline Merlo performed the original on Songland, I could immediately see this at a show in front of 15,000 people singin’ at a big amphitheater. Those are the songs that are hard to write and she captured it great, and with all the tweaks from Shane (McAnally) and the rest of the team, it is such a fun song. I cannot wait to be back up on stage performing ‘Champagne Night’.”]
Lady A served as the guest artist on the season two premiere of NBC’s Songland back in April.
They co-wrote the song along with show mentor Shane McAnally and aspiring songwriter Madeline Merlo.
FAST FACTS
“Champagne Nights” will be included on an upcoming Lady A project.

Tim McGraw Is Eating Fried Chicken and Mashed Potatoes During COVID
Here’s a TIM MCGRAW story that has nothing to do with his crazy fitness routines. In fact, it’s just the opposite. Somebody asked if he’s been craving anything in particular during quarantine . . . and he admitted that he’s human.
Quote, “I crave stuff all the time. I love a great cheeseburger. I’m a cheeseburger fanatic. And Faith [Hill] makes great fried chicken, so we’ve had fried chicken quite a few times and I make the mashed potatoes.
“She [also] makes the best roasted chicken that you can possibly imagine. And I make a pretty dang good country fried steak.”
