Blake Shelton Serenades Nurses
Blake Shelton joined Hoda Kotb on The Today Show via. Zoom to surprise for 2 nurses that recovered from COVID-19.
After working the frontlines, the mother and daughter nurses both suffered the virus and the mother recently recovered after being taken off the ventilator.
As part of Nurses Week, Hoda had asked Blake to join her in thanking them for their work, Blake, with guitar in hand, sang, “God Gave Me You.”
Before singing, he told them,
“You guys are out there on the front lines fighting it, and now you’re a survivor of it. And you’ve got each other, and that’s really what this is all about.”
