The Belize Tourism Board just announced that they’re going to be hosting the world’s biggest game of hide-and-seek.

Four people will hide around Belize, and one person will be the “seeker” who will have one week to find them using clues.

If you’re interested, you can apply to be a hider or seeker by next Monday, and the game is the week of November 12th.  If you’re one of the five people they pick, they’ll fly you to Belize to participate for free.

You can apply by emailing HideAndSeekBelize@gmail dot com

A study has determined that if you want to get the maximum health benefits from your coffee habit, you should aim to drink 3-4 cups per day.  They d found that drinking three or four cups per day was associated with a lower risk of heart disease and of death from any cause.

Though the largest benefit was associated with drinking that amount, drinking even more than that wasn’t found to be harmful, but the benefits were less pronounced.  Drinking coffee is associated with a lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, gallstones, renal stones, gout, some types of cancer, Parkinson’s disease, depression, and Alzheimer’s disease. Coffee also drastically lowers the risk of liver cancer and liver disease.

TODAY’S GOOD NEWS

There’s a 9-year-old kid in South Dakota named Javier Amos who’s been battling leukemia.  And the best news is he’s now in remission.

But he also just did something pretty cool for his classmates last month . . .

The Make-a-Wish Foundation recently approached his family and said they’d grant any wish he wanted.  So he could have gone to Disney World, or met his favorite athlete.

But instead, he asked them to throw a pizza party for all his FRIENDS at school.

The Make-a-Wish people showed up at his school last month, and threw everyone a huge pizza party that also included zoo animals, bounce houses, and laser tag.

Javier got to ride to the party in a police car.  And when he showed up, everyone was waiting for him with signs they made.  And they were all chanting his name.

The head of Make-a-Wish in South Dakota said he’d never seen anything quite like it.  And yes . . . it sounds like Javier’s pretty popular at school these days.

Royal Family’s Bed Sheets

Just when you thought life as a member of the royal family couldn’t be more luxurious, they’re out here putting the extra in extravagant.

Thanks to the new ITV documentary Queen of the World, we now know that it takes staff at the Rideau Hall up to a full hour to iron just ONE of Her Majesty’s bed sheets during preparation for her royal stay.

Master of the Household Christine Macintyre confirmed this fact, explaining that there are special sets of bed linen reserved for just the royals, and that “It takes over an hour to iron one sheet.”

“After a long day of traveling, there is nothing better than going into a bed that doesn’t feel like a hotel bed,” she says. “And that is what you are trying to do—is to make it feel like they are in their own bedroom.”
