A German triathlete, Jaroslav Bobrowski, 30, went to a sushi plance in Bavaria, last weekend and paid his $19 for as much of the Japanese food as he could eat. The former bodybuilder allegedly managed to put away almost 100 servings – the equivalent of five people. Each plate is believed to have 2-3 pieces of sushi on it.
The restaurant owner told him personally he was no longer allowed to eat there due to his appetite. “He eats for five people. That is not normal”. Bobrowski was stunned and said he had been a regular at the restaurant although it has now been reported he has found another place to visit close by.

We may have stumbled upon a cure for baldness. And it doesn’t even hurt! It seems the secret to hair regrowth lies in synthetic sandalwood which is currently most commonly used as a potpourri smell for sock drawers. The scent has been shown to have unexpected effects on hair regrowth in a recent study.
Research showed that the cells surrounding the root of every hair follicle can actually “smell” synthetic sandalwood and, more importantly, respond to that smell. Each hair grows in three phases, and by exposing yourself to this magic scent, your hair may stay in ‘phase 1’, which is known as the growth phase. Scientists say this is very promising for certain types of baldness — but more studies will have to be done to confirm it.

The journal “Psychological Science” released a study this month that found people’s first impressions of you are probably better than you think. And in general, you’re more well-liked than you realize.
Researchers at Harvard and Cornell observed people meeting for the first time, and then had them rate each other . . . and themselves . . . according to how the conversation went.
And people consistently rated the other person as being more likeable and fun to talk to than they rated themselves . . . a trend they called the “liking gap.”
It didn’t just apply to first impressions though. Even after several months of knowing someone, people still gave them higher ratings than they gave themselves.
In other words, you shouldn’t be so nervous about making a good first impression, because you probably come across better than you think. Especially if you’re shy.
The study found the “liking gap” exists across all personality types. But it’s even more common for people who’d describe themselves as shy or introverted.

A lucky NFL gambler turned $5 into almost 85-thousand dollars last weekend, by correctly predicting the winner of all 15 of the Sunday and Monday games.
The wager was made in the ‘Pro Football Progressive Contest’ at William Hill sportsbooks. It doesn’t use point spreads, so you’re picking winners straight-up.
Now, I know what you might be thinking: Does this mean this person correctly guessed that the Vikings and Packers would TIE?
No . . . the gambler caught a break there. They count TIES as a WIN.

A poll of over 2,000 U.S. adults reveals the following:

- The Cleveland Brownswon their first game in 635 days last night, coming back from behind to beat the New York Jets 21-17. And they did it behind rookie quarterback BAKER MAYFIELD, who was awesome after coming into the game just before halftime.
The Boston Red Sox won a third consecutive AL East title, defeating the New York Yankees 11-6 on their home turf in The Bronx.
- “The House with a Clock in Its Walls” is out this weekend. It’s up against “Life Itself”, the new movie from “This Is Us”creator Dan Fogelman, and a controversial “Purge”-like movie called “Assassination Nation”.
- Here are a couple facts about the first day of fall, which is tomorrow. You can call it either fall or autumn, although the word autumn has been around longer. The first MINUTE of fall depends on what time zone you’re in . . . it starts at exactly 9:54 P.M. Eastern. And fall will last until the Winter Solstice on Friday, December 21st.
- A fashion company called Golden Goose just rolled out some new sneakers. And by “new” I mean they’re a new product . . . but they don’t look that way.
The shoes are covered in dirt, they look beat up, and there’s a piece of duct tape across the top of them that’s supposed to look like it’s holding them together.

KEITH URBAN BONDED WITH BLAKE SHELTON DURING ‘THE VOICE’ APPEARANCE –
Keith Urban serves as an advisor during the battle rounds of NBC’s The Voice this season. He taped his appearance several weeks ago, and Keith says the opportunity allowed him the chance to get to know Blake Shelton much better.
Season 15 of The Voice begins on September 24th, with judges Blake, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson.
Thomas Rhett also serves as an advisor this season, while Kelsea Ballerini was recently announced as a fifth judge for the first ever Comeback Stage.
Blake Shelton – Tonight, he heads back to Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth for the first time in a few decades, to play a special one-night-only free show for the 5,000 fans who get there first. Wristbands are to be given out this morning.
Carrie Underwood Got Emotional at Her Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony
CARRIE UNDERWOOD got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday, and got pretty emotional in her induction speech.
She said she wanted to explain how a girl from Checotah, Oklahoma ended up where she was . . . . and got about a sentence in before she started crying
Basically, she talked about all the people who believed in her . . . her family, the fans and judges on “American Idol”, the people at Capitol Records.
Our favorite part was when she talked about how her parents would enter her in singing contests, and got her an old mixing board and giant speakers to practice.
Quote, “They would always ask me, ‘Did you practice?'” Which they knew I did, because we lived in a tiny house and they could hear me”
BRAD PAISLEY was there to salute Carrie and her family, and SIMON COWELL talked about how she basically saved the show back in 2005, when it was faltering in during Season 4. Carrie’s had an emotional week. She just did that interview on Sunday, where she talked about having three miscarriages in just over a year, before getting pregnant again.
