Going Back To School And Cat Program For Senior
An 89-year-old Florida woman has just celebrating earning a master’s degree in creative writing from Southern New Hampshire University.
he earned her bachelor’s degree at age 84, and just kept going. Joan Donovan had put aside her educational goals decades before.
“I was afraid of college,” she told a reporter. “So I say, try things. If you fail, try it again, but just keep trying.”
A Maine woman created a new program to help seniors not only with the costs of adopting a cat . . . but will find the cat a new home if the senior is no longer able to care for it.
It’s called the Furever Friends program.
