Good News

1. A guy in Calgary named Jordan Soloman spent two years trying to track down his biological father . . . then found out it was a guy he used to work with. Jordan used to be a mall security guard, and his dad Roger managed one of the stores. Now they’re back in touch, and Roger recently met his grandson for the first time.

2. An 11-year-old in the Philippines survived a landslide last Friday by riding it out in an old refrigerator. A cop found him 20 hours later on a riverbank. He has a broken leg, but that’s it. The first thing he said was, “I’m hungry.”

3. A little kid near Minneapolis got lost last week, but was able to call 911 . . . after stumbling upon a payphone that actually still worked.
A guy named Brian Davis lives in Andover, Minnesota. And just for fun, he decided to install his own working payphone on his front lawn last year. That’s the phone the kid found. Brian says he was amazed a child could even figure out how to use it.
