Service Dog For A Blind Dog, Thirst Leads To Lottery Win, Music For Refugees
- Massachusetts man Nicholas Fulmer was thirsty and stopped at the Market Basket in Lowell to get a specific brand of ginger ale that he likes.
While there, he decided to buy a scratch-off lottery ticket too — and it turned out to be a $1 million jackpot winner. Fulmer chose to take his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $650,000, and said he plans to put the money toward buying a house.
