Lost Wedding Rings, Generous Kids
- A guy in Alabama was renovating a house he bought, and found a wedding ringunder the carpeting. Turns out the couple who sold him the house lost it and hadn’t seen it in 30 years. They’re both in their 90s now, and he got the ring back to them.
- A couple in Rhode Island got marriedoutside during the blizzard on Saturday. They’d been planning on the 29th for over a year, so they just went for it. They tied the knot on the front steps of the Providence Public Library. Here’s Adam and Sally Irujo talking about it.
- A Texas high school student, who earned $30,000 at the Kendall County Junior Livestock Show, is now giving that money to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
Maddie Barber was treated for brain cancer a few years ago at the hospital and wanted to give back for all the support they gave her and her family. Here she is talking about the generous donation along with her teachers singing her praises.
