A Great Teacher
Lincoln University student Imani Lamarr missed class due to not being able to find a babysitter for her baby.
The professor, Dr. Aqeel Dix, told the 21-year-old to bring her baby to class, saying, “I’m not going to have one of my students miss my class because they have no one to watch their child.” Dix then ended up holding the baby while he taught the class.
He wrote on Instagram, “I will hold Dr. Dix daycare in the back of my class before I allow [students] to miss class. Days like this makes me fall in love with what I do.”
