Hero Cat
Usually dogs are the heroes, but not this time.
Authorities in the U.K. were searching for an elderly woman on Saturday (August 14th) who’d been missing for over an hour when a member of the public heard her cat, named Piran, meowing.
Police say that person led rescuers to the woman, who had fallen about 70 feet into a stream in north Cornwall in an area that’s difficult to access.
Rescuers got the woman out and she was taken to a hospital where she is listed as being in stable condition.
