Willie Nelson Calls Out His Fake Death Announcements

Willie Nelson is tired of the internet trying to kill him off, and he finally said so in the most Willie way possible.

He posted a few photos on Instagram of himself snoozing on a couch with the caption, “If you believe those A.I. death stories one more time.”

For months, fake A.I. generated posts have been popping up claiming he collapsed, landed in the hospital, or worse.  Some even used bogus photos of Willie hooked up to machines.  None of it was real.

Earlier this year, he had to cancel an Outlaw Music Festival stop because a storm wrecked his gear, but the rumour mill turned that into a health scare too.

Unfortunately, A.I. has gotten so convincing that it’s hard for fans to know what’s true anymore.
