Toby Keith Isn’t Scared Of Cancer Anymore
Toby Keith has been out talking about his battle with stomach cancer, and it sounds like he’s turned a corner, at least mentally.
In a recent interview, he admitted that he was scared when he was first diagnosed, but he’s “not afraid” of cancer anymore.
In fact, he’s teasing a tour for next year.
“It’s on the board . . . we’re getting the trucks and buses fired up. Our plan is to go forward, don’t let this stuff define our future . . . let’s go.”
Meanwhile, Toby made a return to the stage on Sunday, December 10 with the first of three sold-out shows in Las Vegas.
He performed 24 songs over two hours and even brought out Sammy Hagar and Trace Adkins.
He also paid tribute to Jimmy Buffett with a performance of “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes” which was accompanied by photos of Toby and Jimmy together on the screen.
