Cody Johnson On Touring Australia With Luke Combs

Cody Johnson is on tour with Luke Combs in Australia.

He recently talked about the opportunities that Luke has helped him with, and why he takes his job on tour so serious while he’s Down Under.

“He’s opened a lot of doors for me, you know, I’m very thankful for that. He’s allowed me to get on a stage in front of crowds and fan bases that I wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to. So, I’m really proud and that’s one of the reasons why that I’m so concerned with treating this as a job because I’ve got a job to do, I’ve got fans to win over, and for…this isn’t just a normal show. These people have never seen me and my band live before, so it’s time to go over there and really put my foot down and say, ‘hey, man, here’s what I believe country music is.’ And I know for a fact Luke’s gonna do the same thing so.”
