Granger Smith’s Memoir Will Be Released August 1st
Granger Smith’s new memoir, Like a River: Finding the Faith and Strength to Move Forward After Loss and Heartache, will be released on August 1st.
The book gives Granger’s account of his journey through grief after the drowning death of his three-year-old son, River, in the family swimming pool in 2019.
“I never expected to write a book, but some of the greatest things in life come unexpectedly. My book doesn’t hold back. I share everything my family went through—the highs and lows, the good and bad. Writing Like a River was one of the most emotional undertakings I’ve ever been through, but it’s also been one of the most fulfilling.”
In April, Granger announced that his summer’s Like A River Tour would be his last.
He shared a video message to fans on social media explaining his decision to pursue a career in ministry and that he’s been working on a master’s degree at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
