Garth Brooks Loves Playing College Stadiums
Garth Brooks has added another date to his Stadium Tour, this one in Lincoln, Nebraska at the University of Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium on August 14th.
This will be the first music event at the stadium in 34 years, and tickets go on sale on Friday, May 21st.
Garth said he holds a special place in his heart for college stadiums.
“There’s something personal about a college stadium. I don’t know what it is. It just feels ‘tighter.’ It feels more like you’re one unit, so it’s probably my own frame of mind, but the college ones, I gotta tell ya, are my favourites.”
Garth is slated to resume his tour with a sold-out show in Las Vegas (the first concert event ever at the city’s Allegiant Stadium) in early July.
