Country Stars Offer Support For Morgan Wallen
After Morgan Wallen lost his spot on Saturday Night Live and posted an apology video, his social media was covered with support from thousands of fans, and that includes comments from some of his famous friends.
Miranda Lambert wrote: “You’re a sweetheart. We got you.”
And Hardy posted, “Love you bud, I’m proud of ya.”
On Friday, the creator of SNL, Lorne Michaels was asked on NBC’s Today Show about Morgan violating the show’s pandemic safety protocols.
After acknowledging that he had seen the video, The SNL showrunner said,
“We’re “living in a different time and everything is scrutinized.”
Morgan was set to make his debut appearance on the iconic show over the weekend and was taken off the schedule after he was seen partying at different locations last week without a mask.
He was replaced with another Nashvillian, rocker Jack White.
