Mark From Midland Got Sent Home From A George Strait Show
As the members of Midland are spending time off the road, we asked them to share a memorable story about being on the road.
Lead singer, Mark Wystrach had a confession about the first time the band got to meet George Strait.
“It was really cool. Unfortunately, the first time we played for George Strait, I got a little too excited and proceeded to drink almost an entire bottle of tequila by myself waiting to meet George Strait. And it was a combination of Jess, Cameron and my mother that sent me home before George came down. It’s pretty embarrassing when you get sent home by your mother at a George Strait show. It’s a stain on my family’s name.”
