Zac Brown Band Cancels 2020 Tour
The ongoing coronavirus outbreak is to blame for the Zac Brown Band’s cancellation of all of their remaining 2020 tour dates.
Tickets will automatically be refunded if they were purchased through Ticketmaster, or upon contacting the retailer.
The announcement was made in an email to fans and on social media on Saturday, March 21st. The note reads in part,
“Touring is our lifeblood and performing live for our fans is the best part of this job. Bottom line though, we want to take every precaution to put the health and safety of our fans and crew first.”
The news comes on the heels of Zac Brown’s emotional video message to fans late last week in which he pleaded with people to stop going out and take the coronavirus seriously. He said in part,
“To those of you taking proper steps to keep yourself and those around you healthy, thank you. To those of you still out there not taking this seriously, it’s time to wake up. The longer you wait to self-isolate, the longer entire communities will be out of work and the longer it will take our country to recover.”
