Jordan Davis Has A Favourite Song On Album
Jordan Davis’ latest single, “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot,” just happens to be his favourite on his debut album, Home State.
He co-wrote the song with Lonnie Fowler, and while it’s Lonnie’s true story of his first date with his wife, Jordan is proud to be able to put it out into the world.
“(It’s) probably my favourite song off the album. You know, I love ‘Leaving New Orleans’ and that one means a lot to me, but ‘Slow Dance’ is just a song that from day one when we wrote that I just felt like a lot of people need to hear this song. It’s a song that I’ve been playing for a long time, and I’m happy the world’s getting to hear it.”
Jordan is nominated for New Male Artist of the Year at this year’s ACM Awards, which will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 5th at 8 p.m. on CBS.
