Mitchell Tenpenny Has Biggest Debut In 2018
One of Mitchell Tenpenny’s best gifts this year wasn’t under the tree. On Christmas Eve he was told that he achieved country music’s biggest new artist debut of 2018. Mitchell said,
“I can’t say this enough: What’s happening in my life right now is something I’ve always dreamed about!”
Released on December 14, his album, Telling All My Secrets, had the best first-week showing for a major label country debut album this year.
This week’s second-highest charting non-seasonal country album, it’s #5 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and #1 on Nielsen Music’s Country Albums chart.
