Carly Pearce Is Setting Goals For Her Future
It’s been a ‘life-changing year’ for Carly Pearce and she wrapped it up with an engagement to Michael Ray. With a lot planned for 2019, she said she doesn’t necessarily set New Year’s resolutions, instead – she sets goals.
“I mean I don’t know that either of these are short term, but they are definitely where I think my head is … One being a Female Vocalist of the Year nomination, or a New Artist of the Year nomination, or a New Female Vocalist of the year, again, maybe a win at the ACMs or CMAs, and then Grand Ole Opry member. That’s genuinely probably the biggest honour I could ever have.”
Carly has played the Opry more than 50 times. Carly got engaged to Michael Ray just before Christmas while they were vacationing in the Caribbean.
