Country Stars Back Taylor Swift’s Push To Vote
In an interview with People at Tuesday night’s AMA’s, Thomas Rhett applauded Taylor Swift for breaking her silence on politics. He said,
“Taylor’s such a force and whatever she says, a lot of people listen to her. I think it’s great that she’s using her platform to stand up for something she believes in.”
The 28 year old went on to make this statement:
“Whatever town you’re in, voting wise, that can change your way of life or your family’s way of life. It’s very important to register to vote.”
The U.S. mid-term elections are Tuesday, November 6.
