High School Football Player with One Hand Broke an All-Time Receiving Record

Kris Silbaugh is a high school senior in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania, about 100 miles north of Pittsburgh.  And he was born without a left hand.

But by the time he was five, he could already tie his shoes one-handed . . . and he made the varsity football team at his high school as a FRESHMAN.  Which is even more impressive when you find out he’s a wide RECEIVER.

Kris is 6-foot-3, and runs a 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds, which is what elite NFL wide receivers run.  And he’s gotten really good at catching the ball one-handed.  So he’s not just good for someone with one hand, he’s dominant.

No one on the field can keep up with him, and last Friday, he caught a 43-yard touchdown pass to break his school’s all-time RECEIVING record.

The old record was 910 yards, and he has another eight games this season to tack on more.  He also broke the record for most touchdowns by a receiver last year.

Kris says he’s just concentrating on the season right now, but he’s started getting phone calls from colleges that want to recruit him.

Shoplifter Tried to Cut Through That Annoying Plastic Packaging With a Knife . . .

46-year-old David Lee wanted to steal himself a phone from Walmart on Monday evening in Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania . . . about an hour south of Pittsburgh.

He went for a Straight Talk Wireless . . . it’s one of those pre-paid ones.  Then he took it to the automotive aisle and tried to open it.  But it was sealed in one of those plastic packages that’s INFURIATINGLY difficult to open.  Even when you HAVEN’T stolen it.

Lucky David had a knife with him, and went to work on the plastic.  But he found out what we’ve all learned over the years . . . you can’t open those things unless you have a CHAINSAW.  And if you get too aggressive, you might hurt yourself.

And that’s exactly what happened.  David wasn’t able to get the packaging open, but he WAS able to stab himself in the arm.  There was so much blood the staff noticed, so he stole a towel, wrapped his arm, took off, and drove to the hospital.

But his injury was so severe he had to be flown to ANOTHER hospital.  That’s where police arrested him for theft and disorderly conduct.  And apparently he left so much blood behind at Walmart, a HAZMAT crew had to come in and clean it up.

Your barbecue smoke ‘cannot leave the property’
A bizarre, viral video shows a man who claims to be a neighborhood council official telling a resident that his barbecue smoke isn’t allowed to leave his property.

The footage shows the unidentified male resident arguing with the official, who showed up at his house in Pinellas County, Florida.

The resident, who couldn’t believe what he was hearing, told the official that most residents on the street “cook out” and that it’s only a barbecue.

The official, who is holding a clipboard, stated, “I can smell it, I can smell it again right now, but I’m on your property.”

He alluded to the fact that one of the man’s neighbors had complained about the smell of the meat coming from the backyard.

“You’re allowed to have it smell on your property, so that doesn’t count, but when I’m on the street, that’s when it counts,” the official added.

He finished up the conversation by telling the resident that barbecue smoke cannot cross property lines, citing a county rule.  “Commercial barbecue cookers are not exempt from causing a nuisance odor,” the environmental section of the County website states. “If a sufficient number of complaints, representing different households, are reported and an Inspector witnesses the problem, they can issue a Warning Letter.”

Since the video was uploaded it’s up to 1.4 million views.
