91-Year-Old Fulfills His Lifelong Dream of Crashing Through a Garage Door
Is there anything really weird on your bucket list?
91-year-old Walter Thomas lives in Woodstock, New York. And for whatever reason, he’s always dreamed of crashing a car through a garage door.
Specifically, he wanted to be in the garage . . . drop his car into reverse . . . and smash through the door backwards.
Luckily, his grandkids are weirdos too. Because he told them about it a few years back, and they actually decided to make it happen last Sunday.
They used a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo that was headed for a junkyard, and one of their friends let them use a garage they were planning to tear down.
The smile on Walter’s face after he does it is pretty priceless.

Man Is Selling His Golf Clubs on Craigslist Because “My Wife No Longer Lets Me Play”
Married life isn’t quite the same as single life. And while most people eventually surrender to it . . . the change can be awfully SEVERE at first.
A guy named Tim K. in Wilmington, Delaware is feeling that pain.
A few days ago, Tim posted an ad on Craigslist selling his almost new set of golf clubs for $500. Why?
Quote, “I’m only selling them because I got married a year ago and my wife no longer lets me play golf. Actually she doesn’t let me do anything fun. I’d like to sell them to a single guy who has no intention of ever getting married.”
As for the price, it’s negotiable. Quote, “Looking to get $500, but realistically it doesn’t matter how much they sell for since the money will go toward buying my wife more useless [crap].”
Once the ad started going viral yesterday, Tim deleted it . . . probably because he was afraid his wife would find out about it. Then again, we kind of get the feeling that’s what he secretly WANTED.

From bad breath to car accidents, dehydration is a real health threat
It doesn’t take much to become dehydrated. Lose just 1.5% of the water in your body and you’ve reached the tipping point of mild dehydration. Which can cause many things.
It gives you bad breath
It’s easy to forget to drink water during a busy workday, but “Dehydration can give you bad breath,”
It makes you crave sugar
Dehydration can mask itself as hunger, particularly sugar cravings.
It wrecks your workout
Even being slightly dehydrated affects your ability to put effort into your workout. “A 2% dehydration level in your body causes a 10% decrease in athletic performance.
It dries your skin out
Keeping skin healthy and glowing requires drinking enough water. If you work out every day or are a caffeine fiend, for instance, then you’ll need to drink more. Because workouts make you sweat and caffeine is a diuretic, which can dehydrate you.
It may affect your ability to drive safely
New research shows that the number of driving errors doubled during a two-hour drive when drivers were dehydrated versus hydrated—an effect similar to driving while drunk It makes you
A mid-afternoon slump may have more to do with hydration than you think. “When you’re dehydrated your blood pressure drops, heart rate increases, blood flow to the brain slows — all of which can make you tired,”
It can give you the chills
It may seem counterintuitive, but dehydration can bring on chills. “This occurs because your body starts to limit blood flow to the skin,” says Dr. Podesta.
It can cause muscle cramps
A lack of water causes less blood circulation, which can make muscles cramp up.
It constipates you
Your body needs water to keep things moving through your colon.
It can give you a headache
Dehydration can cause headaches in a couple of different ways. “Lack of water affects your body’s serotonin levels, which can give you headaches,” says Dr. Casciari. In addition, small blood vessels in the brain respond quickly to hydration levels (which is also behind hangover headaches), leading to dull aches and even full-blown migraines. Try downing a glass or two of water the next time you have a headache and you may discover it disappears
“Jurassic World” Had the Second Biggest Opening Ever with $204.6 Million
“Jurassic World” was estimated to make about $135 million this weekend, which would have been great. But it ended up pulling in $204.6 million . . . which was close to a record.
It was the second-best opening weekend in HISTORY, behind “The Avengers”, which made $207 million in its opening weekend in 2012. “Jurassic World” did set the record for highest worldwide opening of all time, with $511.8 million.
The original “Jurassic Park” opened with a mere $47 million in 1993 . . . “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” opened with $72.1 million in 1997 . . . and “Jurassic Park 3” opened with $50.8 million in 2001.
It goes without saying that there will be a sequel. And CHRIS PRATT says he’s on board.
Meanwhile, a “Jurassic Park” fan site calculated what it would cost to build an ACTUAL Jurassic Park. Obviously, they did a lot of guessing, but they came up with a figure of $23.4 BILLION . . . plus $11.9 billion in annual costs.
Here are the weekend’s Top movies:
- NEW: “Jurassic World”, $204.6 million.
- “Spy”, $16 million. Up to $56.9 million in its 2nd week.
- “San Andreas”, $11 million. Up to $119 million in its 3rd week.
- “Insidious Chapter 3”, $7.3 million. Up to $37.4 million in its 2nd week.

NEVER WASH YOUR BIRD:
Britain’s Food & Drink Federation has warned that rinsing a chicken under the tap may seem like a sensible and hygienic thing to do … but the exact opposite it true.
It can spread any bacteria on the chicken to nearby surfaces and foods. Food safety experts say that rinsing poultry is unnecessary in the first place because the cooking process kills food poisoning bacteria.
And rinsing the bird under the tap actually splashes any bacteria on the bird onto nearby utensils, kitchen surfaces, and foods.– ANI
