A resident of R.R. # 2 Highgate, Peter Heyboer passed away at Beattie Manor in Wardsville on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the age of 83.
Born in The Netherlands, Peter was the son of the late Pieter and Pieternella (Karelse) Heyboer.
Beloved husband of 54 years to the late Mona (nee Heersma) (2014).
Loving father of Jane Koldyk (Glenn Dilliott) of Ridgetown, Peter Heyboer of R.R. # 2 Highgate and Ken Heyboer (Heather) of Ridgetown.
Proud grandfather of Janine Myers (Matt), Jenelle Koldyk; Ryan Heyboer and Josh Heyboer.
Great-grandfather to Mason and Sage Myers.
Dear brother to Marinus Heyboer of R.R. # 2 Highgate.
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Peter farmed his entire life in R.R. # 2 Highgate. He was an active member of the Turin United Church.
Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Friday, June 22, 2018 with Rev. Wanda Burse officiating. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
