RYLETT: Maxine (nee Bishop) –

A lifelong resident of Dover Township, Maxine Rylett passed away at Fairfield Park in Wallaceburg on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the age of 92.

Maxine was the daughter of the late Fred and Daisy (Wilson) Bishop.

Beloved wife of 48 years to the late Fred (1995).

Cherished mother of Gary Rylett (Ingrid) of Dover Township and Sherry Tetreault (Bill) of Chatham.

Proud grandmother of Tammy Wilkins (Shannon) of Chatham, Chris Rylett (Ashley) of Dover Township and Kym Robinson (Greg) of Grande Pointe. Loving Great-Grandma of Tate and Sophie Wilkins and Rylee and Allie Robinson.

Sister to Vern Bishop (Arlene) of Chatham. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law Earl Bishop (Leona) and Bill Bishop (Betty).
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Maxine enjoyed many days and nights socializing at the legion, playing darts and dancing. She was a Ladies Auxiliary Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 642 and the former Br. 28 for over 30 years.
She was very dedicated to her family, her farm and her many pets, especially her poodle Freda of 19 years.

Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 with Rev. Jim Kettle officiating. A Private Family interment will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.

Donations made in memory of Maxine to the Alzheimer Society or Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
