GALBRAITH: Howard Leslie a resident of Ridgetown, and formerly of Alberta, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance – Chatham Campus with his family at his side on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the age of 69.

Born in Chatham, Howard was the son of Freda (nee Hall) and the late Glen Galbraith (1999) of Morpeth. Beloved husband of 46 years to Linda (nee George). Dear brother to Edward Galbraith (Deb) of St. Thomas, Paul Galbraith (Susan) of Ridgetown, David Galbraith (Patti) of Ridgetown, Glenda Yule (Jim) of Ridgetown and Karen Dunlop (Brian) of Morpeth.

Brother-in-law to Jack George (Carol) of Ridgetown, Kathy Donaldson of Burlington and David George of London. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Howard had a passion for motorcycles, fishing, hunting, rodeos and tractor pulls and enjoyed spending time with his dog Casey. Howard worked at CIBC from 1965 – 1981. He later moved to Alberta, where he worked for the Alberta Treasury Branches from 1981 until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of the Alberta and Ontario Kinsmen Club and the Lion’s Club in Ontario.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 with Rev. Al McIntyre officiating. Interment to follow at Morpeth Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Howard to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
