Cake & Classics feature film is “Citizen Kane” (1941) staring Orson Wells and Joseph Cotten. Showtimes are 2pm and 7pm at the Chatham Cultural Centre, Kiwanis Theatre, 75 William St. N. Chatham. Tickets available at CKtickets.com or at the door. $6 film or $12 for a piece of cake, a beverage and classic film. Citizen Kane is about “multimillionaire newspaper tycoon Charles Foster Kane dies alone in his extravagant mansion, Xanadu, speaking a single word: “Rosebud”. In an attempt to figure out the meaning of this word, a reporter tracks down the people who worked and lived with Kane; they tell their stories in a series of flashbacks that reveal much about Kane’s life but not enough to unlock the riddle of his dying breath.”
