Dustin Lynch Gets Help From His Family

Dustin Lynch got some outside help in deciding to release his latest single, “Hell Of A Night,” as the second single from his Where It’s At CD. Dustin tells us he recruited some family and friends to serve as advisors of sorts.

“I have little focus groups whenever it’s coming time to pick songs for the abum or pick singles for the radio. I do with my cousins and their friends. A lot of times it’s friends that they don’t know that they’ll hit up on Facebook or something because we don’t want the same crowd, but they picked ‘Where It’s At,’ they picked ‘Hell Of A Night’ and a couple other ones that they’re really liking that seems to be what our friends in Country radio are liking, too, for the album so they’ve got great ears, and they’re the demographic we’re after, you know — the young concert-attending, music-buying, music-loving fans are your high school and college kids. That’s just the way it is right now, and so it’s good to have those people in my life that I can trust and run things by before we make the final decisions.”

Today Dustin releases the brand new video for “Hell of a Night.”

He returns to the road with Luke Bryan on Luke’s brand new headlining Kick The Dust Up tour, which opens on May 8th in Grand Forks, ND.
