Johnny Depp’s 2 dogs face death unless they are removed from Australia or they will be put down

Johnny Depp has been told by Australian officials to get his two dogs out of Australia or risk them being put down.

The actor has until Saturday to do so and if they haven’t “buggered off” by then they will be put down.

Apparently Depp violated Australia’s famously strict biosecurity laws by bringing his pooches in on a private flight without the proper documentation.

In a statement on TV, Australia’s Minister of Agriculture, Barnaby Joyce said that Depp, who is in the country filming the latest installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean, has to remove his Yorkshire terriers named Pistol and Boo. Joyce said that the 51 year old brought his two dogs to “our nation, despite not getting the proper certification and the proper permits required. Basically it looked like he snuck them in.”

“Now Mr. Depp needs to take his dogs back to California or we’re going to have to euthanize them. He’s now got about 50 hours (out of a 72-hour notice period).”

That means Saturday morning.
