Justin Bieber apologizes for past behaviour at celebrity roast
Comedy Central’s roast of JUSTIN BIEBER taped Saturday night in Los Angeles, and we have a few of the highlights:
KEVIN HART was the host, and the roasters included Shaquille O’Neal, Martha Stewart, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, and comedians Jeffrey Ross,Hannibal Buress, Chris D’Elia, Natasha Leggero, and Pete Davidson from “SNL”.
Seth Rogen did NOT make a surprise appearance, but WILL FERRELL did . . . as Ron Burgundy. He said, quote, “As far as I’m concerned, this guy is doing it right.
There were a few cracks about SELENA GOMEZ.
Someone brought up Martha’s criminal past . . . quote, “All these rappers on stage and Martha Stewart has done the most jail time.”
There were reportedly a couple PAUL WALKER jokes, which got a little uncomfortable, because Ludacris starred with him in the “Fast and Furious” movies. We don’t know what the jokes were, but Bieber later said he didn’t like them.
When Justin got to the podium, he delivered a serious message, saying, quote, “I turned a lot of people off over the past few years, but I know I can still turn out good music and turn everything all around.
“I’ve lost some of my best qualities. For that, I am sorry. I’m looking forward to being someone who you guys can all look at and be proud of.”
The audience included Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian, Carly Rae Jepsen, Dave Chappelle, Ashley Benson from “Pretty Little Liars”, Clippers point guard Chris Paul, John Legend, and Chrissy Teigen.
Justin obviously enjoyed himself because he Tweeted, quote, “Tonight was one of the best nights ever. Thank you to everyone involved. Thank you.”
The roast airs on March 30th at 10:00 P.M. on Comedy Central. It’ll be edited down, so there’s no telling what jokes will make the final cut.
