Dierks Bentley and his four-year-old son, Knox, showed up to take part in the Nashville Predators’ optional practice in Music City on Friday, March 30th. They skated alongside the team’s celebrated goalie Pekka Rinne and newly signed forward Eeli Tolvanen.

According to NHL.com, Dierks and Knox participated in drills with the Predators and got to hang out in the locker room afterward. Dierks said,

“The funniest part is coming off the ice and signing a bunch of autographs. It’s like Predators fantasy camp day for me. It’s a chance to skate with the guys and then sign autographs wearing a Predators jersey. I feel there’s something really wrong about that. If you’ve seen me skate, you know that’s really not a good thing. It was really fun, man.”

Dierks is a huge hockey fan, particularly of the Predators, having performed the Star Spangled Banner during a playoff game at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena last year.
