Carrie Underwood To Perform at CMA Fest
Carrie Underwood will make her first public appearances since giving birth to baby Isaiah at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville on Saturday, June 13th as part of the LP Field Nightly Concerts. The appearance marks the close of her first decade in country music, after winning American Idol in 2005 and playing her inaugural CMA Music Fest less than a month later. The event also extends the celebration begun with the release of the 25-track Greatest Hits: Decade #1 album, bringing Carrie full circle to the place where it all began.
Carrie’s CMA Fest week kicks off at the Grand Ole Opry as she returns to the stage on Tuesday, June 9th for two star-packed shows. With the week being all about the fans, The Official Carrie Underwood Fan Club Party will also take place at the Opry that evening. Carrie made her Opry debut on June 10, 2005 during her first-ever CMA Music Festival. Visit Opry.com for tickets and additional information.
On Wednesday, June 10th, Carrie will perform her current hit, “Little Toy Guns,” at the fan-voted 2015 CMT Music Awards, where she goes in with the most nominations with five, including two for Video of the Year. Voting is underway now at CMT.com and continues until June 8th at 10 am. The 2015 CMT Music Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena at 8 pm on CMT.

Carrie has always taken time out of her busy schedule to participate in CMA Music Festival because the event is a one-of-a-kind.
“The greatest thing about CMA Music Fest — the whole week — no other genre of music does this, you know? This is so unique to country music. It’s so unique to Nashville. People come from all around to come here and just have fun for the week, and it is something that, you know, this kind of fan appreciation just doesn’t happen anywhere else.”
Carrie will perform at various fairs and festivals around the country this summer beginning late next month.
