Jason Aldean had a concertgoer ejected from his show in Wichita, KS on Thursday, April 9th. The superstar was in the middle of his hit, “Don’t You Wanna Stay” when he got hit in the head by a cup of beer thrown by an overzealous fan.

The Wichita Eagle reports that Jason “stopped singing . . . and he stared angrily in the crowd. He pointed at the offender and slowly shook his head ‘no.'” The singer motioned to security guards and the man who threw the beer was removed from the venue.

The newspaper reports that Jason seemed upset for the remainder of the song, after which he told the crowd, “It took everything I had not to go kick that guy’s teeth in.”

The offender told security that he tossed the beer in hopes of getting Jason’s attention so the singer would announce his buddy’s recent engagement.

Jason’s tour manager declined to press charges.
