The Best of Canadian Country Honoured at the CCMA Awards

The Canadian Country Music Association handed out their annual awards Sunday night at the CCMA Awards in Saskatoon.

Blake Shelton performed his new single, “I’ll Name the Dogs” for the first time on TV and witnessed Canada celebrate its own at the 2017 CCMA Awards in Saskatoon! Dallas Smith, who’s coming to Caesars Windsor, lead the way, along with Brett Kissel and Meghan Patrick. Chad Kroeger, lead singer of the rock band Nickelback, won a Producer of the Year award for producing Meghan Patrick’s debut album, “Grace and Grit”.

Female Vocalist of the Year: Meghan Patrick

Male Vocalist of the Year: Brett Kissel
Group or Duo of the Year: The Road Hammers

Roots Group of the Year: Washboard Union

Rising Star Award: Meghan Patrick

Single of the Year: Dallas Smith “Autograph”

Album of the Year: Dallas Smith “Side Effects”

Video of the Year: Brett Kissel w/ Carolyn Dawn Johnson “I Didn’t Fall in Love With Your Hair”

Fan’s Choice Winner: Dean Brody
