Kelsea Ballerini Shuts Down Internet Troll
Kelsea Ballerini shut down an internet troll that told her to “lose some weight.” The comment was on a photo that Kelsea posted a photo of herself performing during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show.
On Friday, November 9th, she fired back with this:
“I’m not responding to this to give you attention because you don’t deserve that, I’m responding because I am a healthy, normal chick which I pride myself on and work hard for, and want other young girls to see that and know that ‘skinny’ is not always the goal. And for you to think its okay to comment on my weight or size is disgusting.” She then added, “I’m going to get a burger now. Bye.”
Among her online supporters was Kane Brown who posted, “get 2 burgers.” Kelsea is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year at this week’s awards.
She will perform during The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Holiday Special airing December 2 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
