Country stars respond to the haters

Buzzfeed was at CMA Fest asking country stars to answer questions written by people who hate country music.  Here are some highlights.

Somebody asked what “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” means.  Lauren Alaina pointed to her backside and said, “booty.”  Trace Adkins, who obviously knows the answer since it’s his song said, “A well proportioned butt.” Trace also gave a tongue-in-cheek explanation of what MUST be in every country song.  Quote, “Somebody needs to die, somebody needs to get laid, and you gotta say something about your mama.”

Does every country song have to mention a tractor, beer, boots, or kicking up the hay?  Dustin Lynch’s answer to that was, “What are you listening to?”

Brett Young closed the whole thing out perfectly when he said, “I don’t know what the natural inclination to push back against country music is, but it’s timeless and it’s not going away, so give it a shot.”
