A photo showing an 80-year-old Texas man taking his adopted stray dogs for a ride on a mini train he built himself has gone viral.
Eugine Bostick and his brother care for rescue dogs in Fort Worth, Texas. Bostick takes the canines out each morning for train rides.
According to BuzzFeed, the idea started after the pair began taking in and caring for dogs who were at the end of their lives.
“One day I was out and I seen this guy with a tractor who attached these carts to pull rocks. I thought, ‘Dang, that would do for a dog train.’ I’m a pretty good welder, so I took these plastic barrels with holes cut in them, and put wheels under them and tied them together.”
He then attached the creation to his tractor, which he uses to drive the dogs around. The train features a car for each pup, and can hold up to eight dogs, a viral photograph of the canine train showed.
